Living Planet Aquarium

A few weeks ago we took Mazie to the Living Planet Aquarium in Salt Lake County.

It was pretty awesome!

Mazie liked it too.

It was their last week open until they open their new facility in December.

Color Run 2013 - Salt Lake City Utah

A few weeks ago, my friend Maria and I ran and walked in the 1st Color Run in Salt Lake City.

It was a blast.

We were full of color and literally a rainbow!

My 28th birthday was in July and my husband surprised me with a lovely hammock swing in my house.

Park City Art Festival

A few weeks ago we went down to Park City and spent a few hours at the art festival.

It was a beautiful day.

The Cleanse

About a month ago I found a "simple" cleanse on Pinterest.

This year alone, I've been having some stomach issues that have occurred once to twice a month and thought to maybe try a cleanse to get all the sickness out of my system.

I eat pretty well and I do not over eat so I was a little worried on the stomach problems I was having.

 

The cleanse was the Jillian Michael's Cleanse which consists of:

64 oz of water

1 teaspoon of sugar free cranberry juice

2 teaspoons of lemon juice

1 dandelion (detox) tea bag

 

This cleanse if for 7 days.

 

Now, when I say "simple" I mean the ingredients are simple and cheap.

Some of the cleanses I looked up can cost you over $100 for just a few days.

I will be honest, I wish I would have thought the cleanse through better and prepared my body because I went for the full 7 days but felt miserable!

 

You really do not realize how much your body and mind relies on food.

I felt sluggish and horrible.

But after 7 days, I felt weak but lost 5lbs of water weight.

Crazy!

The weight came back after 2 days but I was really hoping this would cleanse me and my stomach issues would be gone.

 

A month later, while we were in California, I got sick, again!

I think I've realized what is causing the pain.

Orange Juice.

 

Makes me sad because I love orange juice but it is not worth the pain.

 

Anyways, the point of this post is that doing a cleanse is a very tough thing but I am so proud of myself for doing it and completing it.

The Green Thumb

It all started at Lowes.

While waiting for the house paint to be mixed, I wandered into the garden section and saw a pretty white trio vase.

Since then, I've been collecting indoor plant's and they are growing everyday!

 Jeremy started the garden in June and it's growing and producing quickly.

 We have Grape Tomato's, Cherry Tomato's, Large Tomato's, Jalapenos, Green pepper's, Strawberries, Cantaloupe, Green Beans, Cucumber's and Pumpkins.

 

We've already tried a Jalapeno and it was spicy.

Can't wait to make some homemade salsa.

A long long time...

Wow. I have not done a post for almost a year.

A child really does change your life!

The older she gets the more busy I am, she has me running around all the time.

Mazie & Friends

My friend Melissa was an angel and babysat Mazie for a few days so my regular babysitter could have some time with her family.

Mazie had such a great time with Bree and Clara. They are the cutest twin girls EVER!

Clara (on the left) has the cutest smile and she has little buck teeth that I love!

Bree (on the right) is so tall, I call her baby giraffe. When she walks she lifts her legs so high!

Mazie had the best time with Melissa, Clara and Bree.

She has definitely made life long friends!!!
