The Cold Crunch

I know this is a popular craving for pregnant women. I seriously thought I would not crave ice at all. But then 30 weeks came and I would constantly thing of ice and feeling that cold crunch in my mouth. I am now obsessed. I need me some iron vitamins.

Baby Fat

Jeremy and I are guessing how much Mazie will weigh when she is born.

Jeremy's guess - 8lbs 2oz

Kristin's guess - 7lbs 10 oz

Jeremy weighed 8 lbs when he was born and I weighed 9, so we will see how much Mazie will be when she is born.

32 Weeks

32 Week Recap:

My ankles started to swell.... yuck.

I am still craving ice.... mmmmm.

My appointment with Dr. Melendez went good. I am 164 lbs, uterus is measuring at 33 cm and Mazie's heart beat is good and strong.

I am starting to get sharp pains "down under". I am not really sure how to explain the pain, but I have a feeling it's Mazie pushing on some organ of mine.

Inhale and Exhale

I had my 1st Prenatal Yoga class last night. I loved it! It was a lot of work and I swear I thought I was going to throw up at one point (note to self: do not eat a bagel with loads of cream cheese before class)

The class was extremely relaxing and my yoga instructor is great! She is super tiny and really soft spoken.

It's amazing what you learn about your body and how you can use it when taking a class like this. I've noticed I am pretty flexible but not well balanced. I had to hold onto the wall when doing one of the poses. Mazie was kicking during some of the exercises which made me giggle a little.

All in all I can't wait till my next class. In the meantime, I need to practice being more balanced.

My Relaxation Thursday's

I'm starting Prenatal Yoga on Thursday July 21st at the Orem Community Hospital. I will be taking the class for 6 weeks. I am really excited to start the relaxation and breathing techniques for labor.
It's so crazy to know I will be meeting this little one in 8 weeks! AHHH!

So I should be leaving on Maternity Leave starting August 15th. YAY! Once she arrives I will only have 6 to 8 weeks with her before going back to work. Makes me sad.

I would have been eligible for FMLA which would give me up to 5 months off of work, but I had to of worked with my job for a year which technically I have but through a temp agency.
So now I am on the lookout for child care and it makes me nervous giving a stranger my newborn baby.
I just pray that it all works out.

I appreciate it so much and I know Mazie felt the love too. 

It was so much fun and I loved how my sister in laws, mom in law and mom decorated and put everything together.

Random Photo's from California Visit

Here are some random photo's from my Cali trip.

1st Photo: Caylin - This is my friend Jess's daughter. They came over to hang out for a bit and Caylin was just talking up a storm. She kept telling me that I was her "Best Friend". I got so excited and Jess told me that Caylin says that to everyone. Ha!

2nd Photo: This is my nephew Evan. Jeremy's brother's son. He recently turned 2 in June and he is the sweetest, funnest, not shy 2 year old ever. He was so excited to show me his room full of toys and his new toddler bed he got for his birthday.

3rd Photo: This is probably the funniest story ever! So Robyn (Evan's mom/My sister in law) told me wherever he lays or sleeps he has to have his 4 blankies, his 2 gigantic pillows and 4 stuffed rabbits. He is actually laying in their dog Daisy's dog bed and he made us give him all of his belongings in order for him to be comfortable. He is such a funny little guy.

4th Photo: This is Baby Lily, my friend Lydia's newest daughter. She is about 10 months old now and she is the cutest baby. She seriously looks like a little cartoon character and she just crawls all over the place. She kept banging her head while crawling underneath the coffee table and it did not seem to phase her.

Mazie's Feather's

I am decorating Mazie's "little corner" with feather's. I found some pretty feather's on Etsy.

My plan is to put little bundles of feather's in old white distressed frames (like display cases).

I can't wait to get my feather's and berry bundles from KIMONOS on Etsy.
