Since I have been pregnant, I have been reading articles online and pregnancy books that always talk about women waking up in the middle of the night and sneaking to the fridge to get a snack because of the cravings.
I have not done this once.
I just wake up every few hours to go to the bathroom and then I drink more water.
I have dreams about food but that is about it.
This just goes to show you that every women experiences different things while being pregnant.

39 Weeks!

We had our 39 week appointment on Wednesday with Dr Lamoreoux.
I am still 2 centimeters dilated and the doctor is pretty sure he felt Mazie's head.
He was so happy that she turned.
He said usually after 36 weeks, if the baby is breech, the baby usually stays breech till delivery.
My 40 week appointment is on Monday. We will see how I am progressing.
I am ready!
I have been feeling good, but I do have those uncomfortable moments where I can't find a way to lay or sit.
But then some days I am completely fine.
It's very weird.
I am also sure some of my mucus plug has come out.
So now I am just waiting for my water to break or for the gut wrenching contractions to start.
I am pretty sure I am going to go the full 40 weeks and maybe even 41.
We will just have to wait and see.

Kristin

I Enjoy This

I enjoy being at home.
I enjoy waking up at 7 in the morning and watching the sunrise while eating breakfast.
I enjoy taking a nice nap during the day.
I enjoy watching movies whenever I want.
I enjoy watching Loney sit out on the patio in the sun, just relaxing.
I enjoy spending a day with my husband during the week.
I enjoy all of these things during the day and not having to worry about being at work for 9 hours and coming home to so many things but being to tired to do them.
I am enjoying this time off.
I know I will enjoy it even more once Mazie arrives.

More Movies!

Jeremy and I had a pretty interesting Friday night. We went to Blockbuster (which we never do since Redbox came out, I want Netflix) We rented Season 4 of the office and we also rented Cedar Rapids and The Adjustment Bureau. When we went to check out, the lady who worked there scanned everything and then told us that they were only 1 day rentals.
Wait, did she say 1 DAY RENTALS! Are you kidding?!
No wonder why they were so cheap.
The funniest thing is we actually got through an entire Season of The Office and 2 movies by Saturday and I returned them at 10:30 a.m. How in the heck did we do this?
We just did. HA!

This movie had it's funny moments. But, I don't know if I could watch it again.
Rating: 5 out of 10

When I first saw the preview for this movie, I wanted to see it.
The story sounded very interesting.
Well, the movie was okay. It was pretty slow but I still like the story.
Rating: 6 out of 10

I am patiently waiting for Scream 4 to come out onto DVD.
Hurry! Ha!

38 Weeks (I think it worked)

We went to the doctor's last week for our 38 week appointment.
We saw Dr. Ollerton and he told me I am dilated to 2 centimeters. We told him that our last appointment, we found out that Mazie was breech.
I told him that I really wanted the doctor's to turn her when I go into labor and I wanted to avoid a
c-section completely. He was a little concerned.
He told us that he can turn the baby but they usually like to do this around 37 to 38 weeks because of the amount of amniotic fluid that is available for the baby.
He said it's usually not safe because the further along you get, the bigger the baby is and the less fluid there is. So he took us to the ultra sound room and HALLELUJAH! (I hope I spelt that right)
Thank you God!
SHE TURNED!
She is now head first in my pelvic area.
Now I hope she just stays this way till delivery.
Thank you to all of my family and friends for your prayers!
We appreciate your love and support so much!

A Day in Park City

We spent the afternoon in Park City with some friends on Saturday. It was a beautiful day.
We ate some Mexican food and our friends enjoyed the Alpine slides and coaster.
I stayed behind because of my big ol' belly.
I enjoyed some Dip N Dots, Apple Pie Caramel Apple and the cool crisp air.
It felt so nice.

But the best thing that came out of the day is finding a GREAT Babysitter for Mazie for 2 days a week.
I am so thankful that my good friend Sabra will be watching over our little girl.
When she told me she would be happy to do it and that she was excited, I seriously almost cried.
I am tearing up right now just typing this.
I praise God so much that we found someone trustworthy and close to us.
I can't even explain how excited I am.
I really can't even put it into words.
I have been looking online at Care.com lately trying to find a babysitter close by. Even though I found some nice people, I don't know them and all I keep thinking of is getting a strangers information so my child is not kidnapped. I swear I watch to many Lifetime Movies. But it happens.
Again, I am just so grateful that my friend Sabra said Yes!
Thank you my friend!

A Fun Filled Day

Mazie is going to be making her appearance any day now. Her little room is all ready and my suitcase is packed. I guess I could clean the house, but that is no fun. Maybe I will do some cleaning on Sunday.
So Jeremy and I decided to have a fun day yesterday. We went to Boondocks and played miniature golf. I got a HOLE IN ONE! But Jeremy still kicked my butt by 5. We then went on the bumper boats (don't worry, they were very safe and they hardly bumped) Jeremy soaked me so bad. I got off the ride and was dripping until we got home. HA!
We then came home and took a nice, long nap.
Then we went on a date!
We ate at Texas Roadhouse and then went to the movies to see Cowboys & Aliens.

Lazy Days

Since being home on maternity leave, I never realized how much television sucks during the day.
There is never anything on. I have been going back and forth to Redbox renting movies while Jeremy is on shift. I've seen some pretty good ones and some pretty boring ones:
Very good but sad.
Extremely creepy at the end finding out that this was based on a true story!
Rating: 8 out of 10
Very interesting and kind of depressing.
Rating: 7 out of 10
Another movie that was very interesting to see how Facebook was created and very sad to see a friendship completely demolish because of money.
Rating: 8 out of 10
Never Let Me Go was a sad and interesting story, but I really did not feel the love story between the couples. Kind of a slow movie, but beautiful scenery.
Rating: 5 out of 10
I am not a Country fan at all. But I like the sound of the story, which made me want to rent it.
Ummmmm.. the movie was very boring. I kept getting up from the couch and doing things around the house. That's how bored I was. The ending was really sad though.
Rating: 3 out of 10

Ugh, can you tell I am bored, I am rating movies. I never do that. HA!

I went to see my friend Mollie the other day and she gave me some shows to watch while I'm at home.
Jeremy and I just finished Season 2 and 3 of "The Office" and now we are watching the 1st season of "Modern Family".

Both shows are extremely funny and put you in a goofy mood.
I love it!

Kristin
