Dress Up

These photo's were before Halloween.
I found a bunch of cute costumes for Mazie to play dress up in.
She did not enjoy the Monster from Where the Wild Things Are.
She loved the princess dresses and danced all day in them.
All the costumes are so cute and I really hope she starts to love the monster one.
I will give her time.

Kristin

Laundry Room/Sewing Room is DONE!

Our laundry room remodel was done around Spring of 2012.
The laundry room was located down in the unfinished basement but my husband decided to put it on the 2nd floor loft.
It is wonderful and amazing!
Here are a few photo's.

17 Weeks

17 weeks has been good to me.
But I am starting to notice that I definitely need to start looking into some maternity pants.
Ugh, I don't dread this but I'm still in my 2nd trimester and I know maternity pants will be baggy on me.
Hopefully I can find a good pair.
It's been rainy all weekend and it's a nice change from the snow.
The rain makes me excited for Spring time.

15 Weeks

I forgot to post my 15 week update. Whoops.
During this week I'm pretty sure I felt the baby move a few times.
I can't wait to feel more movements.
That was my favorite part of being pregnant and definitely what I missed most about being pregnant.

Jeremy and I experimented with funny gender prediction games.
He heard from someone to hold a pencil with a needle attached to the eraser and thread attached to the needle.
You dangle it over your left wrist and the pencil will move in circles and if you have one child it will tell you the gender of your first child. If it's a boy, the pencil moves parallel, if it's a girl, it moves perpendicular, which it did. Then the pencil moves in circles again and then will tell you what gender your second baby is.
I will not say what we saw, I will leave it as a surprise.
It's funny to do those little games just to play around.

My next appointment is this week and I'm hoping we will find out the gender.
But most importantly, I just hope and pray that the baby is doing good and growing strong.

Love,
Kristin

Guest Room Remodel DONE!

When we first moved into our house, the guest room looked like this:

Before

There were mouse droppings everywhere and dog food.
It was pretty gross.
We finally finished the guest room around March of 2013 and it's very cozy.

Here are the photo's I took of some large tree's that surround our backyard and just played around with the colors and design and used them for the art in the guest room.
I loved that I incorporated our tree's in with our home.
Some of these tree's showed were cut down the end of 2013 because we are putting up a fence in our backyard and the tree's were in the way.
Made me sad but it had to be done.

16 Weeks and it's a BOY!

16 weeks pregnant and I feel pretty good.
I'm a little tired but the nausea is gone and will hopefully stay away during this pregnancy.
We found out the gender this week and it's a little boy!
We were so excited!

I forgot to post the ultra-sound photo.
And it's very obvious that it's a boy.

Love,
Kristin
